Skeptical… (Probably of no interest except WW fans)
So, the new release date is supposedly November 22. I really, really hope so.
(Silently praying that, someday, this book will be monthly again and ON TIME! I think this may be especially good considering that something important might be coming up for Wonder Woman in the future, something like, I dunno… A FREAKING MOVIE DIRECTED BY JOSS WHEDON!)

Yes, DC. It might behoooooooooove you to build up this comic book as something worth investing time and money in. Not a source of frustration, as the date is pushed back again and the release goes bi-monthly and then not even bi-monthly but LATE YET AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!oneelevenoneone

I think Wonder Woman has the potential to be even greater than Superman. I have a few ideas knocked around in my head that would strive to make her engaging, entertaining, and endearing. Huh. Didn’t mean to alliterate. =P I love to write women characters…especially the ones with speculative elements.
Part of my frustration comes from knowing that the story and writing are really good — and engaging. Rucka’s run was fantastic, and so far the new storyline is fun, and i like what they’re doing with Diana…but they’re going to lose readers like this. It’s ridiculous. They gave WW a huge push for #1, yay, big relaunch, celebrity writer, wooooot! … and then they drop the ball.
It’s ridiculous. And yes, I prefer to have great stories than an on-time book that’s crap … but this constant delay isn’t conducive to good storytelling, either. If I have to go back and remind myself what happened four months ago when the last issue was released, then the storytelling momentum is lost. The excitement is gone.
And readers will be, too.
Did Joss even finish the script yet?
I’m totally gagging on the idea that Mischa Barton might play her.
I’ve heard that he finished a script, and there was a rumor that he found an actress…but no one has been confirmed yet.
I hope they get a newbie. Too many actresses bring in baggage to the role.
Although Angelina Jolie would be way hawt in those starry tights.
She’s too old, man. I was thinking Jessica Beal would be okay ’cause she’s a huge bitch. Too bad this wasn’t made 20 years ago when Lucy Lawless would have been fucking perfect.

I’ve been watching JLA on DVD. Man, did you see the one where Morgan Le Fey turned them all into kids and WW was totally crushing on Batman and Batman was all shy and stuff?
I honestly think that if they made JL Kids, it’d be better than Teen Titans. Superman and Green Lantern as little kids were hilarious.
