They apparently didn’t know what THE LAST STAND meant when they had Prof X wake up in the credits.
AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN ‘WHY GAMBIT’? AAAAAAHHHHHHH! He’s hot off the scale of 10! He’s a thief and a charmer! And uber way super sexy! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! How can you NOT love him?? He can pick locks with his feet!! (The accent annoys me a little, but mostly just in fanfic.)

Ohhhhh Gambit is one of my favorite X-men and I am a huge Rogue and Gambit shipper. I am not a huge comic fan but I loved the cartoon.
And I just read on Ohnotheydidnt blog that Josh Hooloway is tipped to play Gambit which is a great casting decision. Btw Meljean from what I remembered in the Last Satnd the serem was a temporary thing – Magneto looked like he was getting his powers back. So I’m pretty sure that Rogue will get her powers back.

Oooh, would be great to get some Gambit. The accent is annoying, but love the character other than that!
Has — Rogue/Gambit was my first hardcore ‘ship. And I agree that they set up the end of X:3 to give the powers back … so hopefully, she’ll be back to normal (and with a spine.)

Echo — I wouldn’t mind if they didn’t. I’d prefer it, of course, and let Bobby and Kitty do their little thing, but I also don’t want to see a character like Gambit with the weenie that Rogue was in X:3.
Nicole — Yeah, I really hope they won’t go overboard on the accent in the live action, because it might come off a bit comical.
