Gimme some love, BABY (aka: Who is totally squicked out?)

age of consent by Victoria Gordon

(Actually, I’ve read this. She isn’t as young as the title would indicate, and the book is unique in its hero and his pre-romance relationship with the heroine. He’s a writer who was deeply in love with his wife (now dead) and the heroine was friends with them both. Not one of my favorite books, but it is an unusual one.)

Jen: BUWAHA!

Hero on cover looks like James Mason aka Captain Nemo from the 1954 movie, 20000 Leagues Under the Sea.

I think the hero looks like Sayid on Lost, if Sayid were to slick his hair back and wear a suit…which I would love to see ; -)

@JenB: *snort coffee out nose*

Thanks.

@katiebabs: Yes! I couldn’t place it, but that’s exactly who he reminds me of.

@Cheryl McInnis: *hides* I don’t watch Lost. I’ve only seen the (highly entertaining) recaps at The Booksmugglers blog

AHA-HAHAH.HAHAHAHAHA. I would SO read that book. Haha. The cover reminds me of old school Bantam/Barbara Cartland books.
… Weird – it’s also definitely making me think Diana Palmer.
