Have you thought of using marketing tools such as SmartSymbols to give the consumer the backstory, as well as, all the social media connected with books (http://www.SmartSymbols.com)?  They have an author/book example on their demo page.  Its a great way to give the consumer the book experience and community at the point of sale.</description>
