Twitter Tip #576.2

If you are including a link in your twitter post, then give some indication to what it is that you’re linking. It’s not enough to say, “A must read post! http://link.com”

Please, please, please give some indication of the content … “A must read post about My Little Pony! http://link.com”

There are simply too many links online to click a random one. So be kind to your followers, and tell them what you’re linking. They’ll appreciate it (and probably be more likely to click.)
