Oof. Book was absolutely great–and your story was the BEST. And I say this even with a wonderful Nalini Singh story in there. BUT…the Kindle version was nasty awful. Apparently they didn’t fix the file errors–or they just missed an awful lot. Or these made it to print, which would be double-plus bad (we Kindle readers are kinda used to this stuff, sadly). There were about four fragmented sentence errors in each story. An example from Nalini’s story:
“Ria came first, of course. Emmett would’ve allowed noth-Ria came first, of course. Emmet would’ve allowed nothing less,”….
Yay! I was so happy when I found out it was just a file glitch, and not a publisher fight.
