I utterly adored Here There Be Monsters (mechanical flesh? Oh hell yeah!) and I am so fascinated by steampunk. Being a romance addict, traditional (non-romance) steampunk doesn’t hold much appeal for me, so I am super excited about The Iron Duke. Thanks for the chance at it early, Meljean!

This comment thread is bumping up to 200 already, but what the hell: I’m fascinated to learn more about steampunk,and loved the ‘Pirates of the Carribean meet League of Extraordinary Gentlemen’ concept (though, strictly speaking, the second part might be kind of redundant given the giant Kraken, Davey Jones, and Calypso’s goddess manifestation; would that mean that it could be Pirates of the Carribean meets itself?).
