What really works is the in-depth exploration and explanation of how you got your chance at starting out. I think the summary of what the Guardian series is was a bit too short and therefore not enough info fore newbies to the series.
Looking forward to the rest of the books even more now.
That was pretty damn cool. Don’t know how they edited it but the beginning had a little shakey voice but by the time you started talking about your break into the biz – you were in you element. Very good!

@Estara: The shortcomings are all my fault, honestly. They asked me a lot about the Guardian series, but I was a) nervous as hell and b) sounded like an idiot. So they probably included what they could

What a great interview! I enjoyed it . How can it not be nerve racking with ing put on the spot with a camera in your face. I thought you did great and it’s nice to put a face with the name.
Great interview Meljean! You looked gorgeous and I really don’t think you appeared nervous. Generally when someone on screen is nervous, it makes me nervous but I didn’t feel that way at all. The only thing that I would have liked is more, just more info and more talking. It’s like you merely hit the tip of the ice berg…
Oh and hello! This showdown you hinted in Michael’s book has me all giddy!!
Will Michael’s book be something like Sherrilyn Kenyon’s ARCHERON where its like 800 pages? Sorry, I probably just shocked you into a dead faint with that question! But truly, I kind of compare the anxious waiting of Michael’s book to that of Archeron’s… And since it will be the last of the Guardians, it kind of makes sense to think it would be a thicker book. Just a curiousity.
