Because THE DARKEST NIGHT was fricking awesome, and as soon as my head comes back up for realz I’ll say more — but for right now, I just wonder why it is crazy tortured alpha men who do insane things to themselves are so fun? I think fans of JR Ward might really enjoy the warriors she’s created and the storyarc being built (there’s romance, but also much more taking place) and also the energy and the fun of it reminds me of Kresley Cole’s IAD series. Gena’s got a three-chapter excerpt up if you’re curious.*

Sweet! Have fun at the signing! Unfortunately I won’t be able to come- 2,897 mi – about 1 day 19 hours is a bit much. I need a Guardian to fly me there… or maybe Jake can use me to practice his Gift with?

I had planned to drive down for the 16th and may be backpacking over the 9th. Will you be at the RWA National conference book signing in San Fran in July?
Awww, good luck at the signing & have fun! Wish I could go there and see you, but I live all the way up north in Canada (Edmonton, Alberta to be exact!) so driving from here to there will take me at least a day or two or three — depends on how fast I’m driving!

PSSSSST: Meljean, I want you to know that I wasn’t really using Michael as a feather duster. I have enormous respect for him, even though he hasn’t had his own book yet. I was only saying that feather duster stuff to try and get Katiebabs to trade me Michael for Rhev. The truth is, I am being very good to Michael. Please divert your authorly eyes from any more feather duster discussions!

I have been driven partly insane by the disastrous loss of Drifter, my fave ever hero. Michael has been a great comfort to me. Sorry KB.
