whenever i read ‘billionaire’ in a title, it makes me think of that scene in the original austin powers movie where the villain still thinks a million dollars is a lot. i wonder when ‘billionaire’ will have to be upped, and i wonder what the transition was like when it originally went from ‘millionaire’ to ‘billionaire’?
(you notice that i’m assuming ‘inexperienced love slave’ went through no such transition)

The Vengeful Guardian’s CONVENIENT mistress?! I think if your own characters could clobber you, Charlie would be first in line. I am going to petition on her behalf that you change it to ‘Inconvenient mistress.’

Oh, like “widow” and “virgin” are mutually exclusive concepts. *pfft* If indeed her field has been plowed in the past, wouldn’t she be a Relatively Inexperienced Love-Slave, at best?

Or perhaps it’s not referring to sex at all, but to her inexperience as a Love-Slave… :brickwall: I’m too invested in this now. I have to buy it. Curse you!

Right now I am in the middle of reading some interesting HP’s. Got to love the ones where the Sheikh Prince with a hundred and one names seethes with hate over the heroine but can’t be denied her touch! heh.

But, seriously, especially after reading the setup to the novel: she’s a widow who lost her (apparently — I’ve only read the excerpt, so it’s hard to tell) beloved husband. So she meets a man who looks EXACTLY like him, and spends a night with him.

I’m not sure, but that sounds like it’s headed the way of lots of emotion and the grieving process … and it’s got a title like that?

Sigh.
