Flat brown squicks me out…and after watching The Biggest Loser I think I feel secure saying they’re not all flat and brown :roll:

PS…my very first CP was a dude and he used to call women’s hard nipples “rubbery” squicked me out even worse :boggle:

Hmm, now I’m trying to remember how I’ve described nips in my books. I think the last one is from First Blood, and the passage was:

Daring a movement, Annie opened her eyes. A taut pectoral and the brown disk of a nipple obscured her field of vision; if she lowered her lips even an inch, they’d meet the crisp, reddish-brown hair that roughened his chest.

I can’t vote, because with few exceptions it would depend on the context and how it fits the writing voice (for me, at least) but I’m starting to wonder just what on earth happens during those twittering sessions :wink:

You need a new poll (or whatever) where we get to offer our own suggestions.

However, they ARE nipples. I prefer them in their primitive state, not dressed up in metaphor or wrapped in adjectives.

Definitely not ‘flat brown male nipples’ because it makes me think of something like this:
