Speaking of voting…
It’ll start October 21st. Books and prizes galore — but what you win will be up to you (and everyone else who votes). I’ll post instructions and more information on October 20th, and the Flash thingy below will be updated the same day, so that we can begin. 
ETA: because of the way I’m setting up the voting stations, there might be slight changes to the blog layout. All will go back to normal after Election Day.

Is there a way to share the widget on various blogs?
Thea — there is, but it’s not really live, so I’m not sure if anyone wants to share it yet (and everyone who shares it will get an extra entry in the grand prize, so they might want to wait until the 20th.)
Also, I saw your excellent review of DM — but I’ll hold off on commenting until readers have had more time to respond. I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable if they have less-than-positive thoughts on the book, which I know sometimes happens when an author is commenting in the threads.
ETA: oh! but if anyone does want to share it, you can just click on the little “share” link at the bottom right corner. Just remember to come back to the DB Headquarters during the main voting period to say where you linked it so that you get the extra Grand Prize entry.
