Today’s contest features romantic suspense, a sub-genre that I’ve been off-and-on (and, lately, am more on). Although the book might not be the first of the author’s books, several of them are part of a trilogy, and I’ve tried to pick out the first book in that trilogy (which is why it might not be the most recent release). Your choice is between:

FIRST YOU RUN by Roxanne St. Claire and DIE FOR ME by Karen Rose

or

KILLING FEAR by Allison Brennan and SHOW NO MERCY by Cindy Gerard

My backlist suggestion: DEMON MOON, because up until the very end there is still the sense of “how the hell are these two ever going to get their happily-ever-after?” Despite all odds, however, they manage to pull it off.

And before that, there is a nosferatu on a plane, wyrmwolves in the streets, a vampire drive-by shooting, a demon who is (almost) as gorgeous as Colin, and a three-against-one vampire attack where the wrong person loses. All good fun, yes?
