Book Club discussion, Red Sonja, and Read-a-Romance Month

GUARDIAN DEMON is the subject of Dear Author’s August Book Club chat. There’s an interview up now. I won’t be participating in the book club discussion, just so that readers don’t feel stifled by my presence, but if any questions come up during the course of the chat that you’d like me to answer, do feel free to contact me or post in my GUARDIAN DEMON Spoilers/Discussion post, and I’ll be happy to answer them as best I can.

And this is super-cool news! I’ve been invited to write a short comic book story for LEGENDS OF RED SONJA! It’s a five-issue series that will eventually collected into a graphic novel. My story is in Issue #2 (I think) but I’ve seen the script for the first issue and it’s fantastic! Issue #1 is coming in November, and they’ve just released the blurb for it.

It’s also Read-a-Romance month! This is an awesome celebration of romance, with fantastic essays every day about “why romance matters.” Here’s a link to the calendar and essays so far (scroll down the page for the calendar).
