In Limbo (but not the one that means I'm dead)
My TBR is huge. My sister has brought home a billion books lately, I’ve ordered a whole bunch that I’ve been looking forward to for a while … but haven’t been reading them. I don’t know why — well, okay, partially I’m just busy, but also I’ve been having a non-romance month or something. A non-romance half-year.
But I thought I’d be using my TBR to get through the post-partum publishing week (this lull where I don’t know if the book is doing okay or massively tanked in sales, and that this time next year I’ll be a barista at Starbucks instead of writing there, sobbing over what might have been into everyone’s double tall extra-hot non-fat no-foam lattes) but I’ve mostly just been revising and working on DEMON MOON (which is fun, I’ll admit). And what little I have been reading has been outside the genre (Lee Child, DIE TRYING, and JLA: Welcome to the Working Week (thanks, Arti!) and some non-fic research for the next novel (which is also in wait-and-hear limbo)).
I’m going to try to start THE RAVEN PRINCE tonight. I’ll report back.
