Lots o’ stuff.
To give you an idea of how scatterbrained I am: Today’s my sixth wedding anniversary, and I completely forgot until my mother-in-law reminded me, and asked if Bobby and I were doing anything special tonight (short answer: no; long answer: well, I’m going to make chicken spaghetti (which is item #4 on my 6-item-food-repertoire (not counting mac and cheese)) and finish up the proposal (remember when I said I’d rewritten it for the last time? I’m apparently a big fat liar)) but now I’m just going through and making sure there aren’t any typos.)
List of things to do:
Check for typos on proposal and send it out.
Start a support group for other authors with new/upcoming releases, so that we can freak out together.
Write a Dear Reader letter.
Answer a Q&A for the Berkley/Jove newsletter. (I’ll put this up on my site after the newsletter is released — the questions were fantastic, all about character, which is exactly what I love to go on and on about (and did go on and on about)).
Figure out what I’m going to do for my guest author day over at Sybil’s.
E-mail my printing company to find out where the heck my bookmarks are (not the fun one, alas — though I think I might turn that into an ad over at SBTB).
Mail out a bunch of stuff to bookstores (like, bookmarks).
Have a contest next week, giving away a copy of DEMON ANGEL a day until the day of its release. Seven Days…Seven Sins. It should be fun, and it’ll give lurkers even more reason to de-lurk.
Randomly select a winner of the DEMON ANGEL ARC, from the “name that series!” contest. Today’s the last day to enter!
Call my sister.
DEMON MOON revisions. My editor loved it, WOOT! But I have a few changes that I want to make, so I’ll be doing those over the next week or two, so that I’ll be ready when the copy-edits come in.
Finish series FAQs, info about the Guardians, and Behind the Scenes of Demon Angel for the site.
