More Catching Up & Plot Board Comes Down
If you missed it, I list my upcoming releases through August in this post. Please note that the date for GUARDIAN DEMON has been moved to August!
RE: The Guardian Retrospective Posts
A couple of readers have asked me about these — and they will continue! I dropped the ball after the first one, because I was struggling with Michael’s book and the writing came first. But I intend to continue these, probably beginning in May, because this month is still a catch-up month.
Answering Emails & Sending Promo Items
I have a bunch of unanswered e-mail sitting in my inbox that I’m slowly getting to now. I also have some readers waiting on promo items. These will be coming! I’m just tackling them one at a time.
Workshop Brochures
I had a few inquiries about the brochures I used for steampunk & worldbuilding workshops in Dallas the past week, and whether I have more. I’m uploading the PDFs of those here, in case anyone finds them useful. I suspect that the worldbuilding brochure will be NOT so helpful, because it references things that I talked about/went into in more depth during the workshop. It’s more of a handy-dandy reference sheet for the workshop rather than being helpful on its own, but I’ll be happy to expound on some of the tips on this blog (…later. After I’m done catching up.) But here they are! These are tri-fold brochures, so it makes more sense when you fold them up.
Tearing Down the GUARDIAN DEMON Plot Board
Awww. This giant thing has covered the wall by my desk for almost a year now. Today I ripped it down. (All spoilers are pixellated out, and some of the things that do remain aren’t how it eventually happened.) I’m not really a plotter, but this book demanded it. And you can see the list of characters from the series on the right-hand bottom side, with the check marks by their name when I made sure to include them in the plot in some organic way.
